The Dolomites

The peak of emotions with a unique character: The Dolomites are among the most impressive peaks in Europe and have been part of the World Natural Heritage since 2009. With well-known mountain massifs such as the Drei Zinnen and the Geislerspitzen, they are the perfect setting for any type of mountain sport or are simply to be admired. Whether it is hiking, mountain biking or climbing, every adrenaline junkie will find what they are looking for.

The world of lakes

Amidst the Fanes-Sennes-Prags nature reserve lies undoubtfully the best-known lake of the Dolomites, Pragser Wildsee Lake, offering the perfect setting for a walk or an outing in a rowing boat. The Antholzer See Lake is an insider tip for all hiking enthusiasts, as well as cyclists. At the Toblacher See Lake you can watch the various water birds in the lush coastal vegetation. In the neighbouring region of Belluno lies the unique pastel-coloured Sorapis-See Lake and the nearby Issinger Weiher pond invites you to take a dip and relax.

The Pustertal valley and its side valleys

The Pustertal valley – also called green valley – is especially characterised by diversity. With many winter and summer activities, Pustertal and its side valleys, such as Ahrntal valley, offer more than 80 3000m peaks of three thousand metres for hiking, climbing peaks or exploring lakes. The Gadertal valley with its vast culture also lies in the heart of the Dolomites, known especially for its vibrant traditions.
