How do I confirm my booking?
→
Your booking will be confirmed by providing a credit card number with an expiration date and a telephone number so we can contact you. You can pay the deposit through online transfer on our website or directly to our bank account:

When and what payment methods are accepted?

Payment conditions for Christmas and summer vacations:
For stays during the Christmas vacation (24.12. to 06.01.) and the Ferragosto/August vacation (10.08. to 20.08.) the following conditions apply:
14 days before arrival: A deposit of 30% is due.
This will be debited from your credit card unless a transfer of 30% deposit has already been made.

For payment of your hotel bill, we accept cash, standard credit cards, as well as debit and EC cards. Please note the applicable maximum for cash payments.

What are the cancellation terms?
→
We accommodate our guests as flexibly as possible.
The right of withdrawal as laid down in the Consumers' Code is not contemplated – however, we are willing to apply the following conditions for withdrawal:
Cancellation up to 15 days before arrival will not incur additional cancellation fees.
Cancellation within 14 days prior to arrival will incur fees of 100% of the total amount booked.
In case of early departure, late arrival or no-show, cancellation fees of 100% on the booked unused days will apply.
Notification pursuant to Part III, Section III, Paragraph I of Italian Legislative Decree no. 206/2005 (Consumers' Code)
Cancellation conditions apply according to the booked rate, the conditions in the booking confirmation apply.
Cancellation insurance
From experience we know that something can always come between you and your booked holiday at short notice, no matter how much you are looking forward to it. To save you and us expenses and problems, we recommend that you take out a cancellation insurance in case of cancellation, premature departure and mountain rescue (incl. helicopter rescue), which you can

You are insured through your credit card?

Travel insurance is included as standard for many credit cards which is usually only valid for the holder of the card. That means in case of a cancellation only the part of the card holder is refunded, and the rest of the family is often not insured. Please make sure that you have adequate insurance. Further information is available from your credit card institute.
Are dogs welcome at Hotel POST?

You are welcome to bring your pet (upon prior registration and with your own blanket, basket etc.). We charge €20,00 per day without food. We kindly request your understanding that pets may not enter the breakfast room or the wellness area.
How can I redeem my gift voucher?

Does redeeming vouchers have a time limit?

Your vouchers do not have a time limit and can be redeemed without restrictions. We look forward to your visit.
Are there special conditions for children and families?
→
We have special children’s prices:
Children up to 2 years old can sleep in a cot for €20,00 per day.
From 3 - 7 years there is a 60% price reduction for the 3rd and 4th bed.
From 8 - 11 years there is a 50% price reduction for the 3rd and 4th bed.
From 12 years a 30% price reduction applies for the 3rd and 4th bed in a double room.

How do I get to the hotel?

By car and motorcycle:
From Bolzano or from the north you take the Bressanone motorway exit. Then you take the SS49 to Brunico. Take the exit “Brunico Ovest” and continue to the centre of Brunico. You will find us there right by the main road, Graben 9 / Via Bastioni 9.
Coming from the east, you take the B100 and the Pustertal state road E66 to “Brunico Centro” and continue to the centre of town. You can find us there right by the main road, Graben 9 / Via Bastioni 9.
From February 1, 2024, the Via Europa street in front of our hotel will become a traffic-calmed zone.
This not only ensures more peace and quiet, but also requires special arrival conditions when arriving by car or motorcycle.
For a smooth check-in, we now require the license plate number of your vehicle. We will issue a special permit so that you can drive directly to the hotel entrance. Please send us the license plate number in good time.
Despite our central location in the city center, we are now in a traffic-calmed zone - a positive feature for your relaxation and a quiet atmosphere around our charming hotel.
By train:
If you travel to Brunico by train, you get off at Brunico train station (not Brunico Nord). From there you walk across Europastraße / Via Europa towards the town centre. If you are travelling by bike, you arrive along the Pustertal cycle path that runs between Mühlbach / Rio Pusteria and Lienz and also directly leads to us at Hotel POST in Brunico.
Is there a shuttle from the train station and the Brunico mobility centre?

Where can I park?

You are welcome to park in our hotel's own parking garage with direct access to the hotel.
The entrance is located directly in front of our hotel.
The parking costs Euro 14,00 per day.

When are the reception times?

Our reception is open from 7.00 to 22.00.
If you will arrive outside of these hours, please inform us of your approximate arrival time in advance and leave us your mobile number, so that we can ensure a smooth arrival.
Hotel POST does not provide night porter service.
When are check-in and check-out?
→
On the day of your arrival, your room is available from 14.00. You can check in between 14.00 and 22.00. If you check in outside of these times, are happy to provide you by telephone with the code for the key box at the hotel entrance by phone.
On the day of departure, please vacate your room by 11.00. We can offer you temporary storage for your luggage on the day of departure. Early check-in and late check-out can be requested at the reception for a fee, subject to availability.

Is there a bicycle depot?

In the basement of our hotel (-2) there is a bikeroom, where you can park your bike securely. It can be conveniently accessed by lift.
Are there e-bikes and bicycles to rent?

At our partner rental service, professional bikes and e-bikes are available for rent at advantageous prices. The bike rental can be booked in advance. The rental service is a few minutes‘ walk away at the Brunico train station.
Are there services for cyclists?

As a Bett+Bike (bed+bike) certified hotel, we meet the ADFC criteria for cycle-friendly accommodation: a lockable bike depot, a drying room for clothing and equipment, acceptance of cycle guests for one night according to availability, provision of a bike repair set and contact to the nearest bike workshop, information about regional tours, a hearty breakfast for active guests and a baggage depot for cycle tour guests are available.
Is there space to dry sports clothing?

You are welcome to use our drying room for your sports clothing.
Is there a ski depot?
→
You can keep your skis safely in our ski depot. A ski boot drying room is also available. So there is nothing standing in the way of a perfect skiing day.
Is there ski rental?

At the valley station of the Kronplatz cable car there are several ski rental services offering individual equipment, including a depot. You can also conveniently rent your equipment online there arrival.
Is there a shuttle service to the Kronplatz ski resort?
→
Get on the ski bus stress-free and be taken directly to the Kronplatz valley station This departs right in front of the hotel (entrance to gourmet restaurant COSMO) and can be used free of charge with the Holidaypass. In addition, the hotel offers a regular shuttle. Please ask us for information on the timetable at the reception.
How long in advance should I book wellness treatments?

When do I get the Bruneck Kronplatz guest card?

The Bruneck Kronplatz Card guest card is included in our inclusive services and is provided to you free of charge in digital form before or at check-in at Hotel POST. Now nothing stands in the way of your mobility on site and participation in the weekly program. The use of public transport throughout South Tyrol is also free of charge for arrivals and departures with the guest card.
Can I borrow umbrellas at the hotel in case of rainy weather?

Of course, you can get umbrellas at the hotel. You can conveniently collect them at the reception.

With the guest card you can use public transport in South Tyrol free of charge and enjoy many leisure facilities at a reduced price. This means that exciting activities at Kronplatz and in Brunico are available to you as part of the weekly programme.

What can you do in summer in case of bad weather?
→
Even in bad weather, Brunico offers an array of interesting activities. For sports enthusiasts, there are the climbing hall and ice rink. Water lovers will enjoy Cron4, the big indoor swimming pool. Furthermore, the Brunico old town offers many charming boutiques. Please note that some shops are closed on Saturday afternoon and Sunday.
What museums are nearby?

Hotel POST is the perfect starting point for exploring the culture of South Tyrol. Just a few minutes’ walk away there is the Brunico Municipal Museum, as well as Bruneck Castle with the Messner Mountain Museum Ripa. Just a short distance away by bus and cable car there are the breathtaking mountain museums LUMEN and the Messner Mountain Museum Corones.
How far away is the town centre?

Hotel POST is situated right in the centre of Brunico, surrounded by the charming old town. How can I best get around locally?

With the Bruneck Kronplatz Card you can use all public transport throughout South Tyrol free of charge and explore the surroundings without any parking stress and expense. The trains and buses run every half an hour through the main valley and to the Pustertal side valleys.
